Verdaride is a mobile application and platform that connects drivers and passengers for daily commuting purposes. We facilitate:

Ride matching between drivers and passengers
Payment processing and transaction management

Real-time GPS tracking and route optimization

3. User Responsibilities

As a User, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the service for lawful purposes only
Respect other users and follow community guidelines
Arrive on time for scheduled rides
Communicate respectfully with ride partners
Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations

4. Driver Responsibilities

As a Driver, you additionally agree to:

Maintain valid driver's license and insurance
Keep your vehicle in safe operating condition
Follow the agreed-upon route and schedule
Ensure passenger safety during rides
Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
Accept payment only through the Verdaride platform
Maintain a minimum rating of 4.0 stars

5. Passenger Responsibilities

As a Passenger, you additionally agree to:

Be ready at the agreed pickup location on time
Follow the driver's reasonable instructions
Respect the driver's vehicle and rules
Pay the agreed-upon amount promptly
Not bring prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances, etc.)
Rate drivers fairly and honestly after rides
Not damage the vehicle or its contents

6. Payments and Fees

Payment Terms:

Passengers pay drivers directly through the Verdaride app
Verdaride charges a service fee of 10% on each transaction
Payment is processed at the time of ride completion
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
Drivers are responsible for their own fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Verdaride to:

Transport illegal items or substances
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Use the service for commercial transportation purposes
Share false or misleading information
Attempt to circumvent our fee structure
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code

8. Safety and Insurance

Safety Measures:

All drivers undergo background verification
Real-time GPS tracking is available for all rides
Emergency assistance feature is available 24/7
Users can share ride details with trusted contacts
Drivers must maintain appropriate auto insurance
Verdaride provides supplemental liability coverage

9. Intellectual Property

Verdaride and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Verdaride Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Verdaride is not responsible for:

The conduct of users, whether online or offline
Any loss or damage resulting from ride arrangements
Vehicle breakdowns or accidents
Personal belongings left in vehicles
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdaride's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for our services in the six months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account:

If you violate these terms of service
If you engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
If your account poses a security risk
If you fail to maintain required ratings

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the app.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Verdaride shall be resolved through:

Direct negotiation between users first
Mediation through our customer support team
Binding arbitration if necessary
Governing law: State of California

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through our app or by email. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
